Shelf check has been done. Missing books have been looked at and some have been reordered. Now it is time to weed.

Weeding is both depressing and fun. The depressing part comes from making lots of holes in the shelves where books used to be and hoping that there is enough money in the budget to replace them.

Shopping!

The fun part is looking up what might replace these books, deleting them from the system and the London database, taking off all the stickers, and cutting out pages that have our bar codes in them. When all this is done, they can go on the for-sale shelf.

Unlike the old journals. Those went into the bin. Bwahahahaha! The picture is one of my coworkers swimming in the sea of binned journals.
